Scott Niedergang joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2018 to co-lead the firm’s Healthcare Advisory Practice of the Capital Markets division. Prior to C&W, Scott worked at a publicly-traded investment brokerage, where he joined as a sales intern and was steadily promoted to eventually lead the firm’s institutional healthcare division.
At their previous firm, Scott and Gino were ranked as the top two producers and top team within the healthcare real estate sector. To date, they have facilitated 105 transactions with a market value of $722,208,376. Recent notable transactions include the $131 million sale of the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute Portfolio in the Chicagoland area, the $117 million sale and leaseback of 20 radiation oncology centers in five states leased to 21st Century Oncology, and the representation of a thirty-plus physician group in the sale and leaseback of a $40.4 million Memorial Hermann Surgery Center and Rehab Hospital in Katy, Texas.
The Cushman & Wakefield Healthcare Advisory Practice targets the dynamic real estate needs of healthcare clients across the continuum of service and real estate uses. Multi-disciplinary teams with healthcare industry expertise, local market knowledge, and relationships with health systems, physician practices, and other healthcare providers help healthcare clients enhance patient care and accessibility, generate efficiencies across their platforms, and maximize the value of their real estate.
Scott and Gino’s team is able to maximize value for clients via Cushman & Wakefield’s national market. They have represented and maintain relationships with a national network of physician groups, health systems, developers, real estate investment trusts, funds, and private investors. The team takes pride in tracking every healthcare real estate transaction nationally and maintaining a pulse on new entrants into the marketplace. The combination of Scott’s market expertise, track record of successfully closing medical office transactions, and the firm’s national platform enables him to match buyers and sellers effectively and add value by moving capital across geographic regions and product types.
