Gino Lollio is a Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield’s Healthcare Advisory Practice of the Capital Markets division. Prior to joining C&W in 2018, Gino was named Senior Director and co-headed the institutional healthcare division of a publicly-traded investment brokerage.
Led by Gino and Scott, the Cushman & Wakefield Healthcare Advisory Practice targets the dynamic real estate needs of healthcare clients across the continuum of service and real estate uses. Multi-disciplinary teams with healthcare industry expertise, local market knowledge, and relationships with health systems, physician practices, and other healthcare providers help healthcare clients enhance patient care and accessibility, generate efficiencies across their platforms, and maximize the value of their real estate.
To date, Gino and Scott have facilitated the sale of 105 transactions with a market value of $722,208,376. Recent notable transactions include the $131 million, nine property sale of the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute Portfolio in the Chicagoland area, the $117 million sale-leaseback of 20 radiation oncology centers in five states leased to 21st Century Oncology, and the representation of a 30-plus physician group in the sale-leaseback of a $40.4 million Memorial Hermann Surgery Center and Rehabilitation Hospital in Katy, Texas. In 2015, Gino and Scott were ranked as the top two producers and top team in the firm within the healthcare real estate sector.
Gino has been featured in many industry publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Globe St., REJournals, Midwest Real Estate News, American Medical News, REIT.com, National Real Estate Investors, and Crain’s Chicago Business. He is a consistent participant on healthcare real estate conference panels, including the Interface Healthcare Conference, RealShare Healthcare Conference, and REJournals.com. Real Estate Forum named him as an “Emerging Healthcare Leader” in their November 2015 issue. In 2017, Crain’s Chicago Business recognized Gino as one of the “Most Influential Commercial Real Estate Brokers in Chicago”.
Prior to commercial real estate, Gino played professional baseball in Italy for four years and was honored to represent the Italian National Baseball Team in many international competitions. Gino graduated from the University of Michigan, where he was a four-year letterman in varsity baseball.
